When New Balance took the risk to enter the basketball market in 2019, they were faced with some enormous problems to solve.

First of all, how do you convince people that New Balance belongs in hoops culture, like, at all? And also, how do you market Kawhi Leonard?

No brand had ever figured out how to market Kawhi.

And we saw that as the perfect opportunity to do something truly different for New Balance. All we did was let Kawhi be Kawhi. But don’t take it from us, listen to the man himself ↓
